Obituary of Robert LaCorte

Robert LaCorte, 67, of Monroe Twp. passed away on Tuesday October 18, 2016 at The Gardens at Monroe. Robert was born and raised in Brooklyn. He resided there until moving to Stonebridge, Monroe Twp. in 2014. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Technical Support Manager for Verizon in New York City for 45 years before his retirement in 2008. Robert enjoyed golf, bowling and was an avid NY Yankees fan. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Leo LaCorte his sister, Patricia Dalton. He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, JoAnn (DeMarco) LaCorte of Monroe Twp., one son, Robert C. LaCorte of Brooklyn, two step-daughters: Renea Gargiulo of Brooklyn and Traci Uhteg and her husband Jason of Jackson, his mother, Isabel (Goldstein) LaCorte of Monroe Twp, two grandchildren: Justin and Emma Uhteg and many other extended family members. A memorial gathering will be Sunday October 23, 2016 from 4-7pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. A memorial mass will be 10am on Monday October 24, 2016 at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church – 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 followed by entombment in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery – 340 Province Line Rd., Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
