Obituary of Mary Alma Padgett

Mary Alma (Brennan) Padgett passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday September 22, 2016 at home in East Windsor. She was 90 years old. Mrs. Padgett was born in Queens. She lived the early part of her life in Metuchen. She later lived raised her family in Howell Twp. before moving to The Ponds, Monroe Twp. in 2002. She was an administrative assistant for the Howell Twp. Board of Education and retired in 1988. She was a former parishioner of St. Veronica's RC Church, Howell and was a current parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Wesley B. Padgett in 1987. She is survived by four children, Jean Padgett and her wife Annette Lippman of East Windsor, Joan Padgett-Marks and her husband Allan Marks of North Brunswick, John Padgett and his wife Lori of Barnegat, and Wesley Padgett and his wife Sheryl of Springfield, IL, ten grandchildren, Travis and his wife Kimbre, Brian, Jason, Matthew, Joshua, Breanna, Valerie, Patrick, Sean, and David, her sister-in-law, Alberta Brennan of Piscataway, and many other extended family members. Visitation will be Sunday September 25, 2016 from 2-6pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, www.demarcofuneralhome.com. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Monday September 26, 2016 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church 185 Applegarth Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 followed by Interment in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
