Obituary of Marie Rachel Manganiello

Marie Rachel Manganiello – 93 – Monroe Twp. Marie Rachel (Scarano) Manganiello, 93, died on Tuesday August 9, 2016 at her home in Monroe Twp. Marie Rachel was born in the Bronx and resided for most of her life in the Arthur Ave. section of the Bronx before moving to Monroe Twp. in 2000. She was a great seamstress and a fantastic cook and baker. She loved gardening and taking care of and spending time with her family. Marie Rachel was preceded in death by her brother, David Scarano and her sister, Venus Acocella. She is survived by her loving husband Alfred Manganiello of 65 years, her son Alfred Manganiello and his wife Rosemary of Newark, DE, two daughters: Marian Manganiello and her husband Alan Bourassa of Millstone Twp. and Felicia Manganiello of Jamesburg, one sister, Aurora Tremeroli and her husband John of the Bronx and two grandchildren: Abigail and Theresa Manganiello of Newark, DE. Visitation will be Friday August 12, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am on Saturday August 13, 2016 at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church – 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 followed by entombment in Ferncliff Mausoleum – 280 Secor Rd., Hartsdale, NY 10530.
