Agnes E. (Lenahan) Keil died surrounded by her family on Saturday July 30, 2016 at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. She was 92 years old, was born in the Bronx, N.Y.C., and enjoyed a vibrant life in the city. She eventually met the love of her life, a sailor named Frederic Keil, and they were married Sept. 7th, 1947. They moved around the country, raising three boys and eventually settled in Monroe Twp. at Rossmoor Village. They were married for more than 50 years before she lost him in 1999. Agnes was involved in several clubs and was a member of two champion bocce teams.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Frederic E. Keil, her brother, William Lenahan, and her grandson, Andrew Keil.
She is survived by three sons, Mitchell F. Keil and his wife Lisa Cooper-Keil of Huntington Beach, CA, Barton Keil and his wife Deborah of South River, and Eric M. Keil of Monroe Twp., one brother, Gerrard Lenahan and his wife Alice of Northvale, her sister-in-law, Henrietta Lenahan, four grandchildren, Meghan Corey and her husband Jeffrey, Ariana Keil, Kevin Keil, and Carissa Martynovich and her husband Alex, one great grandson, Dylan Keil, and many other extended family members.
