Obituary of Marie M. Dooley

Marie M. (Moran) Dooley, 91, died on Thursday July 28, 2016 at her home in Jupiter, FL. Marie was born in Elizabeth, NJ and raised in Roselle, NJ. She resided in Union, NJ, Colts Neck, NJ and Monroe Township, NJ. She and her husband Frank enjoyed wintering in Jupiter, FL for many years. Marie took great pride and joy in her family and being a wonderful homemaker following time in the medical profession. She was a cherished and wonderful friend to many over the years. Marie was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Colts Neck, NJ and enjoyed her passion for music by being a member of the choir for many years. Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank V. Dooley (2007). She is survived and will be sorely missed by two daughters: Eileen D. Donahue (Michael) of Florence, KY, and Cathleen M. Dooley of Alexandria, VA, and her son, Michael J. Dooley (Heather) of Sunnyvale, CA; three grandsons: Patrick R. (Renee) and Brian C. (Jennifer) Donahue and Stuart M. Dooley; a beloved sister, Kay Groff and a beloved brother, Jim Moran, as well as loving nieces and nephews. Marie is survived by four great-grandchildren, the light of her life, who provided her much joy. A private visitation followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30am will occur on Wednesday August 3, 2016 at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church – 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 followed by interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital, Trust Bridge of West Palm Beach, or a charity of your choice.
