Obituary of William C. (Uncle Billy) Stern
Please share a memory of William to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Throughout my life, I had the pleasure of getting to know you. I want you to know that I am happy and safe in heaven. Don't worry, I didn't have to drive. I just poured a Smirnoff and club, and ordered a Billy Burger. No bun or cheese of course... I'm in training.
All kidding aside, I want you all to take care of each other. Visit my home often. Continue to make memories. Stop thinking you have time, and live for today. You guys laughed thinking that I didn't work, but I spent the last 40+ years keeping our friendships alive.
As cofounder of the Big Apple Day Schools, I was able to live out my dreams of educating youth for 39 years. I thank everyone who was a part of the Big Apple Family. You all brought joy and happiness to my life.
To my family, my beautiful wife Geri of 45 years, my sister Janet, my 3 boys Willie, Bobby and Andy, my daughter-in-laws Joelle and Nikita, my future daughter-in-law Julia, and my granddaughters Avery and Aubrey, smile and enjoy every moment with each other. Continue to be The Stern family we have always been. I love you all very much!
May you live as long as you want, and never want as long as you live!
Love,
Uncle Billy, Bronco Billy, Grandpa, and Dad
