Obituary of Nelle C. McLaughlin

Nelle C. (Mancil-Roberts) McLaughlin – 60 – Manalapan Nelle C. (Mancil-Roberts) McLaughlin, 60, of Manalapan died on June 12, 2016 at RWJ University Hospital – New Brunswick. Nelle was born in Bethesda, MD and resided in Manalapan for most of her life. She was a customer service representative for Vonage. Nelle was a caring and loving person with an infectious laugh and a very kind and generous heart. She loved trips to the shore where she enjoyed sitting and watching the waves. Nelle enjoyed family ancestry, through research, she discovered that she was part Creek Indian and was a proud member of the Perdido Bay Tribe, with the Chief giving her the Indian name 'Quiet Wind". She also loved to cook and bake and loved animals. Nelle is survived by her loving husband of 14 years Robert McLaughlin of Manalapan, her son Thomas Roberts of Hamilton, her mother Virginia Mancil of Monroe Twp., three brothers: David Mancil and his wife Stephanie of Monroe Twp., Robert Mancil and his wife Leslie of Jackson and Jimmy Mancil and his wife Cynthia of Beaver Dam, NY, one sister Dorothy Pohlid of New York, several nieces and nephews and one great nephew. Visitation will be 7-9pm on Thursday June 16, 2016 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555 – www.demarcofuneralhome.com. A funeral service will be 12pm on Friday June 17, 2016 at the funeral home followed by interment in Old Tennent Cemetery – 454 Tennent Rd., Tennent, NJ 07763.
