Kathy touched the hearts of many and will be sorely missed. So many of us in the square dance community were lucky enough to know her and share her love for square dancing and for life. Even when she was unable to dance, she often came to the dances, sometimes cuddling her little puppy, and had a long line of friends awaiting the opportunity to sit with her, enjoy talking and admire her indomitable spirit and happy nature and wonderful sweet smile. She will continue to be with us in our hearts.

We all loved Kathy. It was truly a pleasure knowing her. She was easy to talk to and you always had a good time with her. She fought her best fight, and I might add with a graciousness and dignity that was amazing. I never heard her complain and she always was in good spirits and had a smile on. We will not forget her. Tony, you had such a beautiful relationship, I can only image the hole this has left. I wish Kathy's family peace and comfort during this time of grief. My deepest sympathies. Carol Casale

Knowing both Tony and Kathy before they were a couple, it became extremely obvious to me how much love and happiness they brought into each others lives. You could see how each of them changed for the better when they started dating, and the love grew with each passing day. When Tony would speak of her, he would always have a smile and a look of love in his eyes. It was obvious to me that he found his "someone special". Rest peacefully in Heaven, Kathy. God Bless.

I will miss Kathy dearly and deeply, with both tears and smiles. I'll remember her joyous spirit, determination, kindness to humans and animals, love of life, generosity, competence, support in time of trouble, openness, great dancing - such a brave, caring, loving person. Kathy enriched my life immeasurably. Tony: You were blessed to find each other.
