Emilie T. (Cunha) Marage, 91, died on Monday May 2, 2016 at her home in Toms River. Emilie was born and raised in Elizabeth. She lived in Roselle and Colonia before moving to Greenbriar @ Whittingham in Monroe Twp. She has resided in Toms River since 2014. Emilie was a supervisor for the prosecutor's office in Middlesex County for 27 years before her retirement in 1995. She was a member of the Portuguese Instructive Social Club of Elizabeth as well as being an active resident and member of clubs in Greenbriar @ Whittingham. Emilie was preceded in death by her husband Manuel O. Marage (1980). She is survived by her son Raymond Marage and his wife Mary of Georgia, two daughters: Annette Baran of Toms River and Gail Schierloh of North Brunswick, one brother Louis Cunha and his wife Ruth of Cranford, one sister Elia Lang of Elizabeth, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be 10am-12pm on Friday May 6, 2016 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. A Catholic blessing will be at the conclusion of the visitation at 12pm at the funeral home. Entombment is private.
