Lillian (Malette) Marchese, 92, died on Wednesday April 6, 2016 at her residence in Monroe Twp. Lillian was born and raised in Brooklyn and lived in Fresh Meadows, Queens before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. in 1989. She worked for some time as a bookkeeper before raising her family as a homemaker. Lillian was a member of the Italian American Club, Garden Club and Bocce Club of Rossmoor. She enjoyed NY Times Crossword Puzzles, was an avid reader and a crazy New York Yankees fan.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Edward J. Marchese (2002), two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Rosner and her husband Arnold of Hamilton Square, her sister in law, Phyllis Marchese of West New York and her granddaughter, Lara Rosner of Washington D.C.
Visitation will be 9-11am on Tuesday April 12, 2016 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. A funeral service will be at the conclusion of the visiting hours at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park – South Brunswick.
