Obituary of Stephen Economy

Stephen Economy – Rossmoor, Monroe Township, NJ Stephen Economy, 92, died on Friday March 25, 2016 at his residence with his loving family by his side. Stephen was born, raised and resided for most of his life in Brooklyn, NY. He moved to Rossmoor, Monroe Township, NJ seventeen years ago. Stephen was a long time member of the International Longshoreman's Association where he severed as an inspector. He proudly served his country in the Army during WW II, was an avid golfer and was a member of the Italian American Club and the Greek Club both of Rossmoor. Stephen is preceded in death by his brother, Clark Economy, and his sister, Catherine Caggianese. Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Rose (Regina) Economy of Rossmoor, Monroe Township, NJ, his son, George Economy and his wife Linda of Rumson, NJ, his daughter, Diane Dame and her husband William of Delran, NJ, four grandchildren: Glenn Bivins, Karen Chando, Chris Economy, Craig Economy, and two great grandchildren: Spencer Chando and Denver Bivins. Visitation will be 6-8pm on Tuesday March 29, 2016 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Road – Monroe Twp., NJ. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Wednesday March 30, 2016 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Lord RC Church – 185 Applegarth Road – Monroe Township, NJ followed by interment in Holy Cross Burial Park – South Brunswick.
