Obituary of Angelina Jones

Angelina (Porembka) Jones died on Tuesday January 26, 2016 at her home in Jamesburg. She was 95 years old. Mrs. Jones was born in Youngstown, PA. She lived in Latrobe, PA before moving to Jamesburg in 1954. She was a RN and worked for Latrobe Hospital. Later, she was a plant nurse at Phelps Dodge in South Brunswick before working at Rossmoor Medical Center as a nurse for 18 years. She retired in 1985. She was a member of the American Ex-Prisoners of War, Continental Chapter. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, and music. She was a parishioner of St. James the Less RC Church, Jamesburg.
In 2013 she was pre-deceased by her husband of 65 years, Philip H. Jones.
She is survived by six children, Janet Carr and her husband James of Denville, Carol Bisbing of Macungie, PA, Mary Margaret Jones of Flanders, Lawrence Jones and his wife Deborah of Monroe Twp., Timothy Jones of Tuscon, AZ, and Lisa Morris and her husband David of Grand Rapids, MI, two siblings, Daniel Porembka of Latrobe, PA, and Louise Cobrando of Latrobe, PA, four grandchildren, Aaron Bisbing, Hayley Bisbing, Elena Morris, and Addie Morris, and many other extended family members.
Visitation will be 2-4pm on Sunday January 31, 2016 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 11:30am on Monday February 1, 2016 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 12:00pm at St. James the Less RC Church, Jamesburg followed by entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.
