Obituary of James G. Donegan

James G. Donegan – Rossmoor, Monroe Township, NJ James G. Donegan, 87, died on Friday December 25, 2015 at his residence with his family by his side. James was born and raised in the Bronx, NY; he resided there until moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Township, NJ in 1999. James proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired as a captain in the New York City Fire Department Ladder 61. James was a member of American Legion Post 347 Larchmont, NY, the Emerald Society of Rossmoor and the Jamesburg Elks Lodge 2180. He was also parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church. James is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary (McNulty) Donegan, his son, James F. Donegan, two brothers and one sister. James is survived by his second wife, Noreen M. (Hogan) Donegan of Rossmoor, Monroe Township, a daughter, Clare M. Donegan of the Bronx, NY, three step daughters: Kathleen Laudicina and her husband Thomas of North Brunswick, NJ, Noreen Worley and her husband George of Valatie, NY, Eileen Heim and her husband Jeffery of Laudonville, NY, seven step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Monday December 28, 2015 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd.
