Obituary of Mary T. Hauser

Mary T. (Russo) Hauser died on Saturday December 5, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 94 years old. Mrs. Hauser was born and raised in New York City. She lived in Brooklyn for many years before moving to Clearbrook, Monroe Twp. in 1977. She was a controller/bookkeeper for Colahan-Saunders Corp. in NYC for 37 years before her retirement in 2001. She was a member of the Catholic Society of Clearbrook and was a member and treasurer of the Italian American Club and the Bocce Club of Clearbrook. She was a parishioner and Eucharistic Minister at St. James the Less RC Church, Jamesburg. Her biggest interests in life were travelling and dancing.
She is survived by her son, Robert A. Befumo of Stonebridge, Monroe Twp., her daughter, Denise J. Baccigalupi and her husband Joseph A. of South River, her brother, Michael Russo and his wife Nadine of Matlacha, FL, five grandchildren, Joseph R. Baccigalupi and his wife Kristina, Genine M. Masiuk and her husband Michael, Robert C. Befumo and his wife Christine, Christopher M. Baccigalupi and his wife Patricia, and Jennifer M. Freiwald and her husband Seth, 13 great grandchildren, and many other extended family members.
Visitation will be 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Tuesday December 8, 2015 and 9am – 10am on Wednesday December 9, 2015 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ, 08831 – (732) 521-0555 – www.demarcofuneralhome.com. Funeral services will begin at 10am on Wednesday December 9, 2015 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be at 10:30am at St. James the Less RC Church, Jamesburg followed by Entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.
