Obituary of Carmela R. Andrews

Carmela R. Andrews – Clearbrook – Monroe Township, NJ Carmela R. Andrews, 96, died on Thursday November 26, 2015 at the Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater, NJ. Carmela was born in Norway, MI and moved to Franklin Township (Somerset County) at the age of five, where she resided for most of her life before moving to Clearbrook - Monroe Township, NJ. Carmela was a homemaker and her interest included politics, currents events and cooking. She was an avid NY Mets fan. Carmela loved to crochet; she made many afghans for her children and her grandchildren. Carmela is preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Andrews, a brother, Joseph Rocchietti and two sisters: Constance Dean and Mary MacFadyen. Carmela is survived by her three daughters: Camille Demech and her husband Ralph of Lebanon, NJ, Maryfern Beisswanger and her husband Donald of Whitehouse Station, NJ, Nancy Starke and her husband Thomas of Camp Hill, PA, five grandchildren: Patrick Demech, Tracy Demech – Toth, Bonnie Demech, Amy Yoder, Timothy Starke, nine great grandchildren: Nicholas, Haley, Jessie, Braydon, Benjamin, Ethan, Daniel, Connor and Hannah. Visitation will be from 9:00am to 9:30am on Monday November 30, 2015 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd. A funeral liturgy will be 10am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. followed by Interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
