Jean C. (Van Houten) Luthringer died on Friday November 27, 2015 at Centra-State Medical Center in Freehold. She was 88 years old. Mrs. Luthringer was born in Paterson. She was raised in Hawthorne and was a long-time resident of Fair Lawn. She has resided in The Ponds, Monroe Twp. since 2008.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Albert Luthringer of The Ponds, Monroe Twp., her daughter, Judy Kellner and her husband Peter of Monroe Twp., three grandchildren, Jennifer Kellner, Michael Kellner and his wife Tiffany, and Daniel Kellner, two great grandchildren, Riley and Mason, and many other extended family members.
A private cremation was held under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ, 08831 – (732) 521-0555 – www.demarcofuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers and for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
