Obituary of Elizabeth H. 'Ann' Swift

Elizabeth H. 'Ann' (Hawkins) Swift, Tinton Falls, formerly of Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. Elizabeth H. 'Ann' (Hawkins) Swift passed away on Sunday November 22, 2015 at her home in Tinton Falls. She was 85 years old. Mrs. Swift was born on April 1, 1930 to the late Frederic M. and Elizabeth (Waters) Hawkins. She was a long-time resident of New Jersey and enjoyed sailing and golfing. She served as Fleet Secretary of Richmond County Yacht Club and was also a member of the Rossmoor Women's Golf Club. Her greatest happiness came from her family. She was pre-deceased by her husband Walter H. Swift in 1981. She is survived by four sons, Raymond T. Swift and his wife Millie of Downers Grove, IL, John W. Swift and his wife Teresa of Aberdeen, James F. Swift of Edison, and Stephen L. Swift and his wife Tracy of Clifton Park, NY, two siblings, Katherine McClellan of Bellefonte, PA, and Victor Hawkins and his wife Nancy of Port Richey, FL, seven grandchildren, Kelly Wellmann (Nathyn), Christopher Swift (Katherine), Thomas Swift, Daniel Swift, Kristen Swift, Matthew Swift, and Jeffrey Swift, two great grandchildren, Ryan and Sylas Wellman, and many other extended family members. Private cremation was held under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ, 08831 – (732) 521-0555 – www.demarcofuneralhome.com. A memorial Mass will be 10:30am on Wednesday November 25, 2015 at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. Interment of her cremated remains will be arranged at a later date.
