Obituary of Dan Focsaneanu

Dan Focsaneanu died on Thursday November 19, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 73 years old. Mr. Focsaneanu was born and raised in Romania. He came to the US in 1984 and settled in Queens. He has resided in Concordia, Monroe Twp. since 2007. He was an engineer and worked for KSW Mechanical Services, Inc. in Long Island City, NY for over 20 years. He loved playing and watching rugby.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Elena (Silvestru) Focsaneanu of Concordia, Monroe Twp., his daughter, Raluca Focsaneanu and her husband Ben of Bucharest, Romania, two grandsons, Andreas, and Mathias, one sister, Cristina Deliu and her husband Horia of Brasov, Romania, and many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be 2-6pm on Sunday November 22, 2015 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ, 08831 – (732) 521-0555 – www.demarcofuneralhome.com. A transfer of his remains for religious services and Interment will then take place. Interment will be in Damaroaia Cemetery, Bucharest, Romania.
