Josephine Viola Samarelli, 86, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island , NY. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Most recently she resided in Princeton Junction, NJ.
Loving wife of James Samarelli, (deceased); devoted and loving mother of Felice Marrazzo and her husband Alphonse, Jeannette Angelo and her husband Stephen, dear sister of Rosalita (deceased) and Dominick (deceased); cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Stephen and Peter.
Visitation is from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Wednesday November 4, 2015 and Thursday November 5, 2015 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Friday November 6, 2015 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. followed by Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
Formal arrangements are under the direction of Glascott Funeral Home, Forest Hills, NY.
