Patsy Valentino died on Thursday October 29, 2015 at Centra-State Medical Center in Freehold. He was 52 years old. Mr. Valentino was born in Newark. He later lived in South Brunswick and has resided in Freehold since 1999. He was a union laborer for Union Local 731 in NYC for over 20 years before his retirement in 2013. He played softball for recreation leagues in South Brunswick and Freehold for the DNR Dumpers. He was a jack of all trades and liked working on cars, woodworking, and gardening. He enjoyed sports including wrestling. He is survived by his wife, Terry Schiano di Cola of Freehold, his son, Michael Valentino and his wife Jessica of South Brunswick, his parents, Ferdinando and Anna (Forte) Valentino of North Brunswick, two step-daughters, Luisa Schiano di Cola and Angela Schiano di Cola both of Freehold, two sisters, Lillian White and her husband Francis of South Brunswick, and Dolores Everhart and her husband Todd of Hellertown, PA, his brother, Carmine Valentino and his wife Laureen of Hillsborough, his brother-in-law, Frank Scanga and his wife, Denise of Jackson, his grandson, Jace Lawrence Laszlo, and many other extended family members and friends. Visitation will be 2-6pm on Sunday November 1, 2015 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ, 08831 – (732) 521-0555 – www.demarcofuneralhome.com. Funeral services will begin at 9:45am on Monday November 2, 2015 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30am on Monday at St. Augustine of Canterbury RC Church, Kendall Park followed by Interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, S. Brunswick. For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made in Patsy's name to St. Augustine of Canterbury RC Church 45 Henderson Rd. Kendall Park, NJ 08824.
