Mary V. (Cassano) Quinn, 75, died on Tuesday October 27, 2015 at her residence in Monroe Twp. Mary was born and raised in Brooklyn and has resided in Encore, Monroe Twp. since 2005. She was a dedicated Administrative Assistant for Bishop Henry B. Hucles Episcopal Nursing Home in Brooklyn for 44 years before her retirement in 2006. Upon moving to Monroe Twp., she enjoyed working at Aramis Boutique in Manalapan where she developed a passion for helping friends and customers. Mary especially enjoyed decorating and spending time at their Jersey Shore home with her best friend Duke and family. She was a former parishioner of Mary Queen of Heaven in Brooklyn and a current parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church in Monroe Twp.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Angelina (Cascione) Cassano and two brothers: Frank and William Cassano.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Bernard G. Quinn of Monroe Twp., one son, Gerald Quinn and his wife Carol of Mountainside, two daughters: Karen Fenn of Mountainside and her fiancée John Milano of Staten Island and Mary Anne DeVivio and her husband John of Island Park, NY, two brothers: Joseph Cassano and his wife Faye of Brooklyn and Dominick Cassano and his wife Jean of Mount Arlington, one sister, Phyliss Lamia of Lindenhurst, NY and six grandchildren: Gerard Fenn, Jaclyn DeVivio, Nicholas Fenn, Brandon DeVivio, Daniel and Matthew Quinn. Also surviving are many other extended family members.
Visitation will be 2-4 pm & 7-9pm on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ, 08831 – (732) 521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Friday October 30, 2015 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30am on Friday at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church – 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery – 3620 Tilden Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11203.
