Charles W. Weaver died on Thursday September 24, 2015 at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. He was 85 years old. Mr. Weaver was born in Long Branch. He lived most of his life in Ocean Grove before moving to Cranbury in 2012. He was a toll collector for the Garden State Parkway. He was a mason and a member of the Masonic Lodge #89, Spring Lake Heights, NJ. He was an auditorium usher at the Ocean Grove Great Auditorium. He was active in the Ocean Grove First Aid Squad and was a fire policeman for the Washington Fire Company, Ocean Grove, NJ.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joan L. (Candiano) Weaver of Cranbury, two children, Nancy Sager and her husband Rev. Dr. Ronald Sager of Cranbury, and Douglas Weaver and his wife Alexandra, two grandchildren, Ginny Sager and her husband Dominic, and Matthew Sager and his wife Alyssa and his sister Elizabeth (Betty) Eichelberger and her husband Bill.
Visitation will be 10am to 11:15am on Wednesday September 30, 2015 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555 followed by a service at 11:15am. Entombment will follow in Monmouth Memorial Park Cemetery, Tinton Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Charles to the Cranbury United Methodist Church – 21 North Main St., Cranbury, NJ 08512.
