Obituary of Helen J. Gutkowski

Helen J. Gutkoswski, 91, of Monroe Twp. died on Tuesday September 15, 2015 at the University Medical Center of Princeton @ Plainsboro. Helen was born in South River and lived in Sayreville for 56 years before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. in 1983. She was an executive secretary in the legal department for Exxon Corp. in NYC for 28 years before her retirement in 1982. Helen was a member of Rossmoor bowling and the Women's 18 Hole Golf Club. She was a former parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish in Sayreville and a current parishioner of St. James the Less RC Church in Jamesburg. Helen was preceded in death by her parents Theodore (1976) and Bertha (1974) Gutkowski, three brothers: Stanley (2011), Theodore (2002) and John (1994) Gutkowski, her sister Jessie Gutkowski (2013) and one niece, Nancy Gutkowski (2010). She is survived by her sister-in-law, Charlotte Gutkowski of Monroe Twp., two nieces and five nephews. Visitation will be 2-5pm on Sunday September 20, 2015 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 9:15am on Monday September 21, 2015 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10am on Monday at St. James the Less RC Church – Jamesburg followed by interment in St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish Cemetery – Sayreville. In lieu of flowers and for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
