Obituary of Robert Romeo Bazin

Robert (Bob) Romeo Bazin, 87, died on Tuesday September 8, 2015 at Monroe Village, Monroe Twp. Bob was born and raised in Nashua, NH. He resided in Oneonta, NY, Somerset, NJ, Memphis, TN, Pinehurst, NC and then moved to Rossmoor, Monroe Twp., NJ five years ago. Bob proudly served his country in the US Navy during World War II in the Pacific. He was employed by the United States Government as a US Postal Inspector for 24 years, retiring in 1983 as Assistant Regional Chief Postal Inspector. Bob loved golf and shared this with his wife and family. Robert was preceded in death by his sister Pauline Mercier (2014). He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Marjorie (Connolly) Bazin of Monroe Twp., three sons: Michael Bazin and his wife Kathryn of Monroe Twp., Robert Bazin of South Carolina and Patrick Bazin and his wife Julie of Vienna, VA, two daughters: Brenda Patton and her husband Martin of Oneonta, NY and Kathleen Fry and her husband Freddie of Brielle, one brother, Donald Bazin and his wife Aline of Florida, one brother in law, Ernest Mercier of Nashua, NH, five grandchildren: Edward Grace, Patrick Grace, Amanda Arshan, Kristine Stewart and Grace Bazin and thirteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be 3-6pm on Sunday September 13, 2015 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Monday September 14, 2015 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30am on Monday at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church – 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.
