Vincent Acampora, 54, died on August 20, 2015 at Medicenter in Neptune. Vincent was born and raised in Staten Island and lived in various parts of New Jersey throughout his life. He was employed in sales at Barnes and Noble. He was a kind and thoughtful person who loved animals, children and his family. He enjoyed listening to music and reading.
Vincent is survived by his parents, Jack and Lucy (Iaizzo) Acampora of Monroe Twp., one brother John Acampora and his wife Mary of Monroe Twp., one sister Gina Acampora of Old Bridge, two nieces: Nicole and Dina Acampora, one nephew, John Acampora, one great niece, Jacqueline Babaoglu and one great nephew, Nicholas Babaoglu.
Visitation will be 4-8pm on Sunday August 23, 2015 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 9:15am on Monday August 24, 2015 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10am at St. James the Less RC Church – 36 Lincoln Ave., Jamesburg, NJ 08831 followed by interment in St. James Parish Cemetery – Mott Ave., Jamesburg, NJ 08831.
