Joseph Bednarovsky, Jr., 79, died on June 19, 2015 at the University Medical Center of Princeton @ Plainsboro. Joseph was born in McKeesport, PA. He lived in Brooklyn for 3 years before moving to Wanaque, NJ where he lived for 40 years and finally moved to Clearbrook, Monroe Twp. in 2003. He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He had an over 40 year career as a controller and worked for several employers, retiring in 1997. Joseph was a member of the Clearbrook Italian American Club and enjoyed playing cards in several card clubs at Clearbrook. He was a former member of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church in Wanaque and was a current parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church in Monroe Twp.
Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Loretta R. (Tassone) Bednarovsky (2010) and his son John E. Bednarovsky (1979).
He is survived by three sons: Joseph P. Bednarovsky and his wife Olga of Huntingdon Valley, PA, James M. Bednarovsky and his wife Gail of Oak Ridge, NJ and Jay P. Bednarovsky and his wife Natalie of Gilbert, PA, one daughter, Jessica L. Embraino and her husband George of Manhasset, NY, two brothers: William Bednarovsky and his wife Dolores and Edward Bednarovsky and his wife Charlotte all of Florida, six grandchildren and many other extended family members.
Visitation will be 5:30-9pm, on Monday June 22, 2015 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church – Monroe Twp. followed by interment in Christ the King Cemetery – Franklin Lakes.
