Harry V. Patten, 92, died on June 8, 2015 at Princeton University Hospital. Harry was born and raised in Perth Amboy and has resided in Rossmoor since 1981. He attended St. Mary's High School in Perth Amboy and then went on to receive his undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University. Harry worked for General Cable prior to serving his country in the US Navy. He was employed as the Regional/National Sales Manager of Industrial Supply Companies until his retirement in 1988. He was a member of the Raritan Bay Yacht Club, the Metuchen Golf & Country Club, the Rossmoor Golf Club and Citrus Hills & Southern Woods Golf Club in Florida. Harry was preceded in death by his first wife, Marion B. Patten, two brothers: Eugene and Richard Patten and one sister, Joan Shymanski. He is survived by his wife Marjorie Weidner Patten, his daughter Christine A. Patten and her husband Carl Broughton, two grandchildren: Tanya and Chase Broughton, two nieces: Jennifer Hale and Jonna Weidner, two nephews: Phillip Shymanski and Robert J. Weidner, his sister-in-law Eleanor Patten, his brother-in-law Robert C. Weidner and his wife Gladys and five grand nephews. Services and cremation were private in accordance with his wishes and were under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555.
