Donald Wesley Urstadt Jr., age 49, passed away on June 2, 2015 after a long battle with cancer.
He was born in New Brunswick, NJ on September 21, 1965 to the late Donald Wesley Urstadt Sr. and Ethel Mae Urstadt. Donald grew up in Hightstown, NJ, where he met his wife and later relocated with his family to Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Donald got his start as an auto technician at a young age by helping his father work on the family's cars. Being a part of the automotive industry fueled Donald's love of Nascar and #3 Dale Earnhardt, his idol. Until his illness he was employed by Southeastern Freight Lines. He worked very hard all of his life, consistently made a difference in the lives of many and will be sorely missed. Donald will be remembered by his family and friends as a wonderful husband, father, brother, fighter and friend.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years Dawn Urstadt and three beautiful daughters Diana, Delanie, and Devin. Donald is also survived by his siblings: Brenda Urstadt, Roberta Bogurski, Annette Cisney, Bonnie Lettiere, Robert Urstadt and David Urstadt as well as many other loving family members.
The viewing will be held on Sunday June 7, 2015 from 4-6pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555 for family and friends. A funeral service will be at 11am on Monday June 8, 2015 at the funeral home followed by interment in Fernwood Cemetery – Jamesburg.
