Sean Leahy, 60, died on Wednesday May 27, 2015 in Monroe Township, NJ. Sean was born in New York City and resided in the Bronx, NY. He was employed by the New York City Transit Authority, for 30 years, working in the vehicle maintenance department. Sean was passionate about history, politics and music. He also had a special place in his heart for animal rescues, donating his money and time for a good cause.
Sean is preceded in death by his parents, Terence (1988) and Patricia (1971) Leahy.
Sean is survived by his brother, Terence Leahy of Kintyre, Scotland, three sisters: Mary Scully of Pearl River, NY, Catherine Leahy of Monroe Twp., NJ and Patricia Farrell of Dublin, Ireland. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Private cremation was entrusted to the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Road – Monroe Twp., NJ.
