Obituary of Ninfa Oliveri

Ninfa (Rubino) Oliveri died on April 22, 2015 at her residence in Monroe Twp. She was 84 years old. Ninfa was born and raised in Borgedo, Sicily, Italy. She came to the US in 1947 and settled in Hightstown. She lived in Port St. Lucie, FL for ten years before returning to Monroe Twp. in 2014. Ninfa was employed as a seamstress for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union Local # 150, South River. She loved to cook, sew and loved feeding and caring for her family. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in Hightstown. Ninfa was preceded in death by her husband Vito P. (1982) and her son Deacon Vito S. Oliveri (1992). She is survived by her daughter Nancy Ferrante and her husband Peter of Monroe Twp., her daughter-in-law Antonia Oliveri of Millstone Twp., her brother Ciro Rubino and his wife Jennie of Monroe Twp., her sister Elena Biardi and her husband Jack of Port St. Lucie, FL, four grandchildren: Rosolino Ferrante, Vito C. Oliveri and his wife Melissa, Peter Oliveri and Vito Ferrante and his wife Natalie and three great-grandchildren: Peter A., Victoria and Vito. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 7-9pm on Friday April 24, 2015 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 10:45am on Saturday April 25, 2015 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11:30am at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church – Hightstown followed by entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum – South Brunswick.
