Josephine Martinelli-Dedicos – 82 – Sayreville
Josephine Martinelli-Dedicos died on April 16, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerville. She was 82 years old. Josephine was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and then moved to Sayreville. For the early part of her career she worked at the New York Stock Exchange and then as an Executive Assistant at Discount Corporation on Wall Street. She later went on to become a private piano teacher and also taught music classes in a Montessori School. Her music touched the lives of many students and she even had a student that became successful. She herself played the piano in Little Carnegie Hall. Josephine belonged to a few Senior Organizations and one of them had a bowling league which she very much enjoyed being a part of.
Josephine was preceded in death by her first husband Michael Martinelli and her second husband Joseph Dedicos.
She is survived by her two sons: Michael Martinelli and his wife Ruth Ann of Sayreville and Joseph Martinelli and his wife Sharon of Randolph, two daughters: Diane Vance and her husband James of Manalapan and Lisa Ballard of Hillsborough, two brothers: Leo Colantuono and his wife Flo of Florida and George Colantuono and his wife Doris of New Hope, PA, ten grandchildren: Brian, Nancy, Joseph, Christopher, Ryan, John, James, Jonathan, Jesse and Jordan and three great grandchildren: Ariana, Tegan and Brendan.
