Obituary of Salvatore R. Restaino, Jr.

Salvatore R. Restaino, Jr. died on Saturday April 11, 2015 at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. He was 70 years old. Mr. Restaino was born and raised in Newark. He lived in San Diego, CA prior to returning to New Jersey. Upon his return, he lived in East Brunswick and later Plainsboro before moving to Concordia, Monroe Twp. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a printer for Nashua Corp. in Newark and later owned and operated his own business, On the Spot Cleaners in East Brunswick. He loved travelling and staying in the Hotel del Coronado in Coronado, CA. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Diane (Ventolo) Restaino of Concordia, Monroe Twp., two daughters, Michele Hoey and her husband Thomas of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, and Diana Duke and her husband Tad of Mission Viejo, CA, three brothers, Patrick Restaino and his wife Donna of Washington, Richard Restaino of Florida, and Robert Restaino and his wife Connie of Little Falls, four grandchildren, Thomas Hoey, Vanessa Hoey, Amber Duke, and Tanner Duke, and many other extended family members. A memorial gathering will be Wednesday April 15, 2015 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A memorial service will take place at the conclusion of the gathering hour at 8:00pm.
