Anne (Catalano) Di Domenico died on March 27, 2015 at The Elms of Cranbury. She was 93 years old. Anne was born in Postiglioni, Salerno, Italy. She came to the US and settled in Brooklyn. She lived in East Brunswick for 26 years before moving to The Ponds, Monroe Twp. in 2001. She was a marine claims adjustor for insurance steamship companies in New York prior to raising her family as a homemaker. She was a member of the Italian American Club of The Ponds, enjoyed traveling, the Italian Opera and theatre. She liked American literature and her favorite poet was Edna St. Vincent Millay. She was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church.
Anne is survived by her loving husband James of 51 years, her daughter Laura Hinds-Callaway and her husband Timothy of Willow Street, PA, two grandchildren: Crystal Stoltz and her husband Josh and Michael Hinds and four great-grandchildren: Noah, Ayden, Harper and Naomi. Also surviving are many other extended family members.
Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Tuesday March 31, 2015 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Wednesday April 1, 2015 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church – 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – followed by interment in Green-Wood Cemetery – 500 25th St., Brooklyn, NY 11232.
