Obituary of Rose T. Markulin

Rose T. (Jugovich) Markulin died on March 10, 2015 at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 78 years old. Rose was born in Jersey City and raised in West New York. She lived most of her life in Monroe Twp. and later lived in Mays Landing and Camden, DE before returning to Monroe Twp. in 2014. She was a homemaker who was her children's biggest fan and was always involved in their activities. She was the former President of the Monroe Twp. Falcons Booster Club, enjoyed traveling, gambling in casinos and crocheting.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Andrew Markulin, four children: Andrew Markulin, Jr. and his wife Angela of High Rolls, NM, Melia Mazza of Manalapan, Allen S. Markulin of Morganville and Tonilyn R. Verticchio and her husband Phillip of Dover, DE, seven grandchildren and many other extended family members.
A memorial gathering will be 11:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday March 14, 2015 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A memorial service will begin at the conclusion of the gathering hours at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
