Obituary of Iris J. Campanella

Iris J. (Wood) Campanella died on Tuesday February 10, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 71 years old. Mrs. Campanella was born and raised in London, UK. She came to the US in 1963 and settled in White Plains, NY where she met and married her late husband, Jack J. She moved to multiple locations throughout New York, Massachusetts, and Long Island before settling in East Brunswick in 1976. She has resided in Jamesburg since 1995. She was a homemaker and was an executive assistant for Exxon Mobil and later, GE Healthcare for over 20 years before her retirement in 2010. She liked shopping, jazz music, flowers, and especially enjoyed the time spent with her sons and family. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Jack J. Campanella in 1987. She is survived by three sons, Mark S. Campanella of Galena, OH, Steven G. Campanella and his fiancée, Benita Hicks of Ocean Springs, MS, and Daniel J. Campanella of Jamesburg, four grandchildren, Jack, Daniel, Raiden, and Nora, and her longtime companion, Chet Siewiec of Jamesburg. Visitation will be Sunday February 15, 2015 from 2-5pm at the M.
