Eleanor N. (McDonald) Denehan died on January 13, 2015 at Monroe Village, Monroe Twp. She was 96 years old. Eleanor was born and raised in Brooklyn. She resided in Monroe Village since 2009. She was a homemaker and a former parishioner of St. Bernadette RC Church in Brooklyn. Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband Peter A. Denehan and her sister Norine Zambardi. She is survived by her daughter Patricia A. Galdieri of East Brunswick, two granddaughters: Jacqueline Galdieri-Kennedy and Renee Galdieri-Freel and four great-grandchildren: Jimmy, Connor, Ryan and Lia. Visitation will be from 5-9pm on Thursday January 15, 2015 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 10:15am on Friday January 16, 2015 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be at 11am on Friday at Holy Trinity RC Church – Helmetta followed by interment in Holy Cross Burial Park – South Brunswick. In lieu of flowers and for those who desire memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association-New York City Chapter - 360 Lexington Ave., Fl. 4, New York, NY 10017 - 800-272-3900 - www.alznyc.org.
