Obituary of Catherine M. Riley

Catherine M. Riley died on December 26, 2014 at her residence in Monroe Township. She was born and raised in South Boston and lived there her entire life before moving to Monroe Twp. in 2012. She proudly served her country in the US Marine Corps during WWII. She was employed as a senate secretary for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State House until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. A devout Catholic, she was a parishioner of Gate of Heaven RC Church in South Boston her entire life.
Catherine is survived by her two nieces, Catherine Codd and Rosemary Iannacone and her husband Alphonse both of Monroe Twp, her nephew William A. Braun of Santa Cruz, CA, seven great nieces and nephews, eight great-great nephews and many beloved cousins.
Visitation will be from 9-10am on Tuesday December 30, 2014 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555 – www.demarcofuneralhome.com. Funeral services will begin at 10:15am on Tuesday from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be at 11am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church – Monroe Twp. Interment is private in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery – Wrightstown.
