Obituary of Judy R. Lowey

Judy R. Lowey died on Saturday November 22, 2014 at her home in Greenbriar @ Whittingham, Monroe Twp. Mrs. Lowey was born in Berlin, Germany. She lived in Israel before coming to the US in 1953 and settled in New York City. She lived in Germany during her husband's military involvement and later returned to New York City. She lived in Kendall Park for 38 years before moving to Greenbriar @ Whittingham, Monroe Twp. in 1997. She was a pediatric nurse for two years before traveling abroad and later had a 34 year career working for Hagerty Nursery in Cranbury. She retired in 2009. She was a member of ORT and Haddassah. She loved dogs, flowers, and hot air ballooning. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Warner J. Lowey of Greenbriar @ Whittingham, Monroe Twp., three sons, Kenneth M. Lowey and his wife Anne of Westwood, MA, Kevin D. Lowey and his wife Jane of Brewster, MA, and Keith D. Lowey and his wife Lisa of Medway, MA, eight grandchildren, Joseph and his wife Lauren, Bridget Koha and her husband Tobias, Aaron, Katelyn Borchers and her husband Callum, Drew, Morgan Lowey Pfizenmaier and her husband Craig, Jacob, and Alexa, and one great granddaughter, Emily Koha. A funeral service will be 11:00am on Tuesday November 25, 2014 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555, www.demarcofuneralhome.com. Friends and relatives are invited to call from 10:30am – 11:00am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum, North Brunswick.
