Obituary of Robert Roga

Robert Roga, 81, Monroe Township. Robert Roga of Monroe Township died on November 21, 2014 at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 81 years old. Robert was a lifelong resident of New Jersey. He was born in Jersey City, moved to Leonia in 1960 and relocated to Spotswood in 1968 before moving to The Ponds in Monroe 16 years ago. He was employed by Colgate-Palmolive Co. in Piscataway for 36 years, as a lab technician, and was involved with the development of patents for household products, until his retirement in 1989. He was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church in Monroe Twp. and a little league coach in Spotswood. He also enjoyed watching sports and was a TV enthusiast. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Mary (McCue) Roga. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Louise, son, Stephen and his girlfriend Ethel, son, Greg, sister Maureen Brinkerhoff and grandchildren Matthew and Angela. Visitation will be from 3-6pm on Sunday November 23, 2014 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Monday November 24, 2014 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church – Monroe Twp. followed by interment in Holy Cross Burial Park – South Brunswick.
