Obituary of Joy S. Fraum

Joy S. (Simpson) Fraum died on November 18, 2014. She was 91 years old. Joy was born and raised in Brooklyn and lived in Totowa, NJ for many years before moving to Howell. She was a homemaker and was a former president of the Sisterhood at Temple at the Reformed Temple in Wayne, a member of B'nai Brith and a former president of the Villages Women's Club in Howell.
Joy was preceded in death by her husband Edward (1992), her son Dr. Stanley S. Fraum, her daughter-in-law Gail Fraum, four sisters Edith and her husband Bibbi, Natalie and her husband Sydney, Martha and her husband Leo and Yvette and her husband Hy, one sister-in-law Ethel and one brother-in-law Shelly.
She is survived by her daughter Frances D. Kolpan and her husband Howard of Monroe Twp., three granddaughters Sherri Zimmerman and her husband Marc and their children Ethan and Sage, Stacey Fraum and her long-time boyfriend Rich and Kim Wehrheim and her husband Bill and their children Kaitlyn and Shawn, one grandson Brett Kolpan and his wife Laurie and their children Ashley and Justin, her brother-in-law Jackie Fraum, sister-in-law Eleanor Grant and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Graveside funeral services will be 11:00am on Thursday November 20, 2014 at Wellwood Cemetery Association – Babylon, NY. Interment will follow the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555.
