Obituary of George M. Cure, Jr.

George M. Cure, Jr. of Monroe Twp. died on November 12, 2014. He was 70 years old. George was born in New Brunswick and lived his whole life in Monroe Twp. He was a graduate of Jamesburg High School and went on to a 42 year career as a repairman at General Motors Corp. in Linden until the plant closed. He was a Life-Gold Member and Ex-Chief of Monroe Twp. Volunteer Fire Company #1. The Harrison Ave. Station is named after his father, George M. Cure, Sr. and the station on Spotswood-Englishtown Rd. that is still under construction will be named in honor of George Jr's lifetime service to the company. Those who George loved the most and will cherish his memory include Peggy Wojciechowski of Monroe Twp., Linda & Michael Hinger of Monroe Twp., Janette Cure of Monroe Twp., Anthony Lacamera of Princeton, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Saturday November 15, 2014 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. Funeral services will be at 10:45am on Sunday November 16, 2014 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Frost Woods Memorial Park Mausoleum – East Brunswick.
