After a long, hard-fought battle with cancer, Robert W. Kuhn, entered into eternal peace on October 25, 2014 with his family by his side. Born in Brooklyn, he was raised in Monroe Twp. and currently resided in Lakewood. During his life he was an altar boy, a Boy Scout, and a member of the conference winning Monroe Township High School Baseball Team. Bob was a die-hard Mets and Giants fan. He had hands of gold. He was privileged to serve as a life member of the Monroe Township Volunteer Fire Company #1.
Bob was predeceased by his parents Robert and Ida May Kuhn.
He was very proud of and is survived by his daughter April Kuhn and her fiancée Bryan Turner of Lawrence Twp., his son Matthew Kuhn of Helmetta, and two grandchildren, Jade and Carter. Also left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Susan Stasi and her husband Vincent of Monroe Twp., and Brian Kuhn and his wife Ann Marie of Point Pleasant, his caring and devoted companion Patricia Gibbons, and his former wife, Lena Morrell. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Tuesday October 28, 2014 from 6-9pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555, www.demarcofuneralhome.com. Funeral services will begin at 9:30am on Wednesday from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 10:15am at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Spotswood. Cremation is private.
