Obituary of Clara Sapone

Clara (Capolino) Sapone – 78 – Toms River, NJ Clara (Capolino) Sapone of Toms River died on October 19, 2014. She was 78 years old. Clara was born in New York and resided in Harlem and City Island, Bronx before moving to Toms River 20 years ago. She was a homemaker and loved to cook for her family. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting. She was a former parishioner of St. Mary's Star of the Sea in City Island, Bronx. Clara was preceded in death by her husband Frank Sapone (2005) and her son Frank Sapone, Jr. (2013). She is survived by her two sons Vincent and his wife Jill of Toms River and Rocco and his wife Kim of Katonah, NY, one brother Frank Capolino and his wife Marilyn of Bronx, NY, two sisters Betty and her husband Robert of Monroe Twp. and Rosalie and her husband Raymond of Monroe Twp., eight grandchildren: Destiny, Christopher, Shea, Sarah, Vincent Michael, Alexandra, Nicholas and Cameron and one great grandson Dante. Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Thursday October 23, 2014 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 9:45am on Friday October 24, 2014 at the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30am at St. James RC Church – Jamesburg followed by interment in Holy Cross Burial Park – South Brunswick.
