Obituary of Francis W. Rainsford

Francis W. Rainsford, 50, passed away at home in North Myrtle Beach, S.C. He was raised in Manalapan NJ, and resided there and in Spring Lake NJ prior to moving to North Myrtle Beach. He was a graduate of St. John Vianney HS and Rider University. A CPA, Francis was a former partner at the New Jersey accounting firm Rothstein Kass. He was later employed in the hedge fund industry by Bisys Fund Services, Balyasny Asset Management, Hunting Hill Global Capital and Viteos Fund Services. He had been a member of the AICPA, the NJ and NY Societies of Certified Public Accountants. Surviving are his beloved children Mary Jean, Brendan and Shannon and his former wife Nancy all of Barnegat NJ; his loving parents Michael and Mary Frances Rainsford of Monroe Twp. NJ; his sister and brother-in-law Johanna and John Mandy of Monroe Twp., NJ; his brothers and sisters-in –law Kevin and Norah Rainsford of Jamaica Plain, MA and TJ and Lisa Rainsford of Rockville MD. He is also survived by his two nieces Sarah and Grace Mandy, his nephew Conor Rainsford and by many relatives and friends in the USA and Ireland. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30AM on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Nativity of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church – 185 Applegarth Road – Monroe Twp., NJ. Inurnment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery - South Brunswick NJ.
