Obituary of Christine M. "Teena" Godson

Christine M. "Teena" (Carlo) Godson - Rossmoor, Monroe Township, NJ Christine M. (Carlo) Godson, 97, died on Saturday October 4, 2014 at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Christine born and raised in Newark, NJ, she resided in West Orange and Chatham Twp., before moving to Rossmoor in 1971. Christine was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. James the Less RC Church- Jamesburg. Christine is preceded in death by her first husband, Anthony Zazzarino (1976), her second husband, John A. "Jack" Godson (1985), a son, Michael A. Zazzarino (1993). Christine is survived by a sister, Rosetta L. Carlo of Wellington, FL., two grandchildren: Dona Michele Daesener and her husband Richard, Michael A. Zazzarino, Jr. and his wife Jennifer, a daughter in law, Carol Zazzarino, a step son, John "Jack" Godson and his wife Margaret, five step grandchildren: Tara Zazzarino, Richard Schlenger, Christopher Schlenger, John S. "Jay" Godson and his wife Esther, Joseph C. Godson and his wife Kierstin, and six great grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday October 8, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Rd – Monroe Twp., NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30am on Thursday October 9, 2014 at St. James the Less RC Church – 36 Lincoln Ave – Jamesburg, NJ. Interment will follow Gate of Heaven Cemetery – East Hanover, NJ.
