Frank W. Tepe, Jr of Monroe Township died on October 2, 2014 at his residence. He was 78 years old. Frank was born in Union City and resided in North Bergen for most of his life before moving to Fair Lawn then finally to Monroe Township 11 years ago. He was a graduate of Union Hill High School. After graduating he enlisted into the Air Force, serving from 1955-1959 then was employed by National Conveyors as a welder for 30 years retiring at the age of 62. In his spare time Frank enjoyed trains, cars, NASCAR, fishing with his grandchildren and was an avid NY Giants fan. He was a member of the Italian American Club of the Ponds, VFW and American Legion in Spotswood.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Marie (Palmieri). On September 27, 2014 they celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. He is also survived by his two sons: Kevin and his wife Cindy of Monroe Twp. and David of Florida and 4 grandchildren: Kyle, Jamie, Heather and Tyler.
Visitation will be from 4-7pm on Sunday October 5, 2014 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. Funeral services will be at 10:00am on Monday October 6, 2014 at the funeral home followed by interment in Holy Cross Burial Park – South Brunswick.
