Obituary of Nancy Claire Chewning

Nancy Claire Chewning died on September 19, 2014 at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 66 years old. Nancy was born in New Brunswick and resided in Monroe Twp. for most of her life. She was a self-employed housekeeper, assisting the elderly with her cleaning services in the Monroe Twp. area. In her spare time Nancy enjoyed bowling in a competitive league. She was a very caring and gracious person and had a tendency to always put others first.
Nancy was preceded in death by a brother William David O'Hagan and her twin sister Helen Patricia O'Hagan.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Jeffrey John Chewning, Sr., two sons: Jeffrey Jr. and his wife Christine Poole of Oaklyn and Tim and his wife Lisa Volk-Chewning of Oreland, PA, two brothers: John Joseph O'Hagan and Alan Russell O'Hagan of New Egypt, one sister Mary Elizabeth Grace of Florida and three grandchildren: Mackensie Paige, Oliver James and Miles Ellis.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1-2pm on Tuesday September 23, 2014 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 followed by words of remembrance at 2pm.
