Salvatore W. Meloro – 52 – Felton, DE Salvatore W. Meloro of Felton, DE died on September 8, 2014. He was 52 years old. Salvatore was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and had resided in New Jersey since 1990 before moving to Delaware 4 years ago. He graduated from Brooklyn College with a degree in Business Management and worked as a telecommunications project manager for 20 years. He was a member of DERA- The Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Response Association and enjoyed television, 80's music and stand-up comedy. Salvatore is survived by his parents, Lawrence and Josephine Meloro of Jamesburg, NJ, his loving wife of 4 years Lisa Serrano of Felton, DE, one son Robert Meloro of Manalapan, one daughter Daniela Meloro of Manalapan, one brother Lawrence Meloro and his wife Lisa of Georiga, 3 step-children: Joshua Serrano of Newark, DE, Joseph Serrano and his wife Melissa of Sewell, NJ and Andrew Serrano and his significant other Stephanie Wells of Pensacola, FL and 5 grandchildren: Carter, Ariana, Kamryn, Ava and Zoey. Visitation will be from 9-10:30am on Friday September 12, 2014 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11:15am at St. James the Less RC Church – Jamesburg. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum – South Brunswick.
