Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. Marilyn A. (Kokoszka) Tucker died on Tuesday August 12, 2014 at Cranbury Center, Monroe Twp. Mrs. Tucker was born in New Brunswick and lived most of her life in Helmetta before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. in 2011. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Trenton State College and her Master's Degree in Education from Rider University. She was an active member of Mutual 17 in Rossmoor, as well as the TEA, MCEA, and NJEA Teacher Association. She was active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America. She was a former parishioner and lector at Holy Angels Church in Hamilton Twp., and was a current member of Holy Trinity RC Church in Helmetta. She enjoyed gardening, painting, and was an animal lover who was fond of rescuing dogs. She had a wonderful sense of humor that will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, William R. Tucker of Rossmoor, Monroe Twp., her son, Sean Tucker and his partner Christopher LaRosa of New York City, her sister, Christine Kokoszka of East Brunswick, and many other extended family members and friends. Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Wednesday August 13, 2014 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 9:30am on Thursday August 14, 2014 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 10:00am at Holy Trinity RC Church, Helmetta followed by Interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, S. Brunswick. In lieu of flowers and for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity RC Church 100 Main St. Helmetta, NJ 08828 OR to the Helmetta Regional Animal Shelter 58 Main St. Helmetta, NJ 08828.
