Obituary of Charles T. Contrino

Charles T. Contrino died on Sunday May 18, 2014 at The University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. He was 90 years old. Mr. Contrino was born in Manhattan, NY. He resided most of his life in Astoria, Queens before moving to Monmouth Junction in 1990. He served in the US Army during WWII and was a traffic expeditor manager for Navy Resale Systems. He was member of St. Cecilia's RC Church, Monmouth Junction. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, he enjoyed fishing, and was a good cook.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, Adele (Rak) Contrino in 1987.
He is survived by three children, Salvator Contrino and his wife Linda of Dayton, Charles Contrino and his wife Tonya of West Windsor, and Cheryl Contrino of Plainsboro, three grandchildren, Michael, Kristin, and Matthew, one great grandson, Anthony, and many other extended family members.
Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Wednesday May 21, 2014 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 9:00am on Thursday May 22, 2014 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at St. Cecilia's RC Church, Monmouth Junction, followed by interment in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
